Heather has provided companionship and support a couple of times per week for my elderly dad for over a year, after he moved to the Kapiti coast. Since I work full time in Wellington, I just wasn’t able to give dad as much help to settle in as he needed. He didn’t know anyone on the coast and is unable to drive, so Heather’s visits and the outings that they do together have been a highlight of his week. Help in the home has included things like cooking a meal, packing for a trip, or ordering and collecting pre-cooked dinners for him. Outings have included trips to the local shops, visits to various cafes and taking him for a haircut. Heather is kind and compassionate and can also handle my dad’s somewhat quirky and energetic banter, making her an excellent companion. She is also incredibly reliable and great with communication. I would thoroughly recommend Heather’s service.
